Fashion Wishlist June

So as you can properly see I've Ben really liking denim recently, and as denim is normally quite expensive, I thought while the sales are on I'd try and get as much as possible.

First, I was on the Topshop sales and I saw this denim top and I was shocked at the price.(£7)I guess I mainly want it because its really cheap and denim but I think it would be really nice with some high waisted shorts.

This flowery dress is on sale for £40, reduced from £65, which is quitea big  reduction. It's still quite expensive and I'm not sure I want to pay that much for a dress I'm going to where a few times and then leave it there for the rest of the year. It's from the brand Mink Pink.

Denim skater skirts have been really popular lately and when I saw this one in River Island the other day, on sale for £10, I literally died. Almost. But it's just a simple light blue, acid wash skirt, which is normally around £25 in most stores like Topshop, and £10 is a real bargain.

Another thing that's been really in fashion lately, has been Denim dungarees. These are pretty expensive (£38) and I'm praying they go on sale really soon, but I've looked at so many pairs and this is my favourite by a long way.

Makeup Wishlist - June

So I decided, every month I'm going to do 2 posts on my wish lists, 1 on fashion and the other on makeup.

So for this month the first item I want is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - £20. Unlike the other Naked palettes, this one consists of mainly matte eye shadows, which I've been really into lately. The palette has 6 colours in, all brown toned neutrals, and is pocket sized, which is great for travelling. Also it has a mirror which is good for makeup on the go.

The next product is a MAC's Vegas Volt lipstick - £14. This lipstick has an amplified finish and when I saw it in Selfridges the other day, I fell in love. It's a gorgeous orangey coral, which is perfect for summer, and as it's an amplified finish its really pigmented and bold.

Nars Laguna Bronzer - £26 I think would look gorgeous in summer. My only worry is that it will be a bit to orange on my fair skin tone, but I'm hoping it will be fine. The price is quite a lot, considering I'm not really into bronzer that much and the one i have at the moment is quite nice, but I've never really splashed out on a bronzer, so it could be worth a try.

Finally, I've been wanting to spend a bit of money on getting a foundation I will love, and have it in my right shade for a while now, and as I love matte skin I think this will be the perfect one. The Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + Foundation palest shade is the perfect match for my skin colour, which is what first attracted me to it, but it ticks all the boxes for my dream foundation. The price is quite a set back, and I will have to also pay shipping as you can't get Make Up For Ever in the UK, but like I said before, I'm willing to pay a bit for a good foundation.

June Favourites!

June Favourites!

Hi everyone! So this is my first blog post and I was going to make a video for my youtube channel on  my June favourites but as there's only four I thought I would do a blog post instead!

Revlon colour stay foundation

This foundation is the nearest thing I can find at the moment to my perfect foundation! The coverage is about medium and definitely build able, the shade range is really good and they have 2 different foundations - one for oily/combination skin and one for dry/normal skin

Cornsilk 3 in 1 makeup powder

This powder is meant to work as a foundation, concealer and powder, all in one, which it definitely is a crap product for its purpose, so when I first got it I was extremely disappointed. However, I normally use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, but recently it's been feeling really cakey on my skin, so I tried this one and I was shocked at how much I liked it! It's not transparent which normally puts me off powders, as I'm so pale that every one I've tried so far has been to dark for me, but this one is a perfect match for my skin. It gets rid of shine just as well as the Rimmel one, but when I've finished I don't fee like I have any makeup on at all!

Collection 2000 extreme 24hour felt tip liner

This eyeliner can create the thinnest lines on your eye which I've been really into recently. I don't really know what else to say about it other than the fact that its amazing and really cheap! Also, it's exactly the same product as the Revlon colour stay liquid eye pen, which is about £5.00 more expensive.

Revlon lipstick in pink pout

I had never tried any Revlon lipsticks before, a few months ago, but I really liked the lip butters and the glosses, so I thought I would try one. But when I walked into Boots I had completely no clue what shade or formula I was going to go for. And then I saw this one. It's really like MAC's Snob lipstick, which I've been eyeing for ages but never actually got and i thought this could be an okay dupe. The fact it was matte put me off the product a bit, but it's actually really moisturising and has made me start to love matte lips. I normally wear bright colours too and I find it hard to find a light pink lipstick that I like, but this one has been amazing and I think it was a bargain for the amount I payed (£7.49)

I hope you liked this blogpost and please give me feedback and tips to make it better. ~ Hannah
